About

Founded in 1830, the University of North Alabama (UNA) is the state’s oldest four-year public university and one of the oldest universities in the United Students.  UNA offers a variety of academic programs that are very popular with international students which included AACSB accredited BBA and MBA, ABET accredited Chemistry/Industrial Hygiene and Computer Science programs, 7 STEM programs, and large choices of Fine Arts and Liberal Arts programs.  UNA has a strong commitment to academic quality and student experiences, an effort reflected in the 2008 edition of U.S. News and World Report’s America’s Best Colleges, which ranked the University as a top tier public university and one of the Safest College Campuses 2015 from www.bestcolleges.com.
