Study Alabama and all our member institutions are part of a global network of contacts sponsored by the U.S. Dept of Commerce Study State initiative representing nearly every U.S. state (see map and contact info on this link) and we as all of our sister organizations are also strongly supported by our state agencies to promote study in the U.S. and our respective state ALABAMA.
Alabama universities and colleges host students and scholars from virtually all countries of the world. Additionally each year thousands of university and college students participate in an experience outside of the US as part of their academic programs (education, research, internships, work and service learning abroad). Alabama’s higher education sector is globally engaged as part of its commitment to prepare leaders across all disciplines for the global economy within which the State of Alabama and the US do business.
